Our internal Legacy of the Cage II playtest is underway. I have a small handful of players, myself included, running through the newest iteration of the best-selling MMA simulation-RPG on the market!

We're hammering on:

The new Promotion and Promoter rules: this is how you act as the "GM" of your MMA fantasy league, controlling the matchups, finding the best fights, and doling out performance bonuses.
Fight Teams and building up your stable of ferocious champions. Hire trainers and personnel to unleash your fighters' wildest potential.
Specialties and improved Skill selection: the skill system is totally revamped from the first edition and now you can even bring in a fighter specialty, like the hard-to-kill dauntless, to employ more unique and game-breaking moves.

I'm building a ton of helpers and automated systems so when it's ready for public playtesting, you'll be able to jump in without pause and start rolling and swinging with impunity. These are exciting times!

Games You Should Play

It's not all work around these parts at PlayArchitect. I've been enjoying some great gaming with friends lately and taking inspiration in the process. Here are a few titles you want to check out:

Vintage Story - it's Minecraft meets temporal-chaos wilderness survival. Lots of beautiful scenery and detailed sub-systems to play with here. Solo or multiplayer are both viable.
Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator - out of early access and loaded with a ton of brilliant upgrades, you can now brew potions beyond imagination in this cozy magic-medieval crafting game. Solo only. Great for cold winter nights.
Fellowship - the "multiplayer online dungeon adventure" game that borrows quite a bit from World of Warcraft's Mythic+ gamemode is a tight loop of 4-player dungeon romps. Lots to look forward to here in this early access title. Best enjoyed with a premade group of friends.
