Games for the Holidays
The winter holidays always remind me of that special, cozy time of year when I would find more time than usual to get into some games.
I have an enormous amount of gratitude for the life I've had in terms of how much gaming I've been able to enjoy. This includes many hopeful Christmas Eves where I'd badger my parents into letting me open that one special little rectangle box so I could eke out a few more carefree hours in front of the TV with my new prized video game while our guests filed in for the first of many holiday gatherings.
I can't say enough about the importance of sharing a great game with your friends and family. Solo games are great, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy games on your own, but think about reaching out to someone you care about and catching up this season over a smart, simple game session.
I'm grateful for you, my readers, fans, and friends of PlayArchitect Games and for all the messages you've sent me over the years expressing your interest and encouragement. Thank you for reading, playing, and thinking along with me.
I hope you have a tremendous and prosperous season full of laughter, life, and winning rolls.
To future worlds, Matt Ventre
